What you can expect from Greater Good Auctions
A free consultation to understand your organization’s mission and its fund-raising goals. We’ll honestly assess whether an auction is the best tactic to accomplish your aims.
A written proposal detailing all pricing and costs. I align service with each client’s expressed goals. Auctioneering services are not an all-or-nothing proposition. A menu of options is considered, with the goal of defining what is best for each event and client.
Consultation on which items to purchase for auction and where to obtain them.
Creative ideas to help make the event memorable, enjoyable and more than a fundraiser.
Consultation about creative ways to promote the event.
Referral to other professionals you may need (venue locations, photographers, caterers and more)
Collaborating (as desired by the client) on the event agenda and program
Leading the auction itself
Leading your Fund-A-Need, Paddle Raise, Special Appaeal, or Gift From the Heart.
Emcee your event.
The last item, leading the auction, is a multi-faceted job. Let’s unpack it. Actions here include:

Generating enthusiasm
Reading the room and adapting to inspire or reinvigorate an audience
Putting the spotlight on the cause
Sharing inspirational stories of life transformation (moving from the donor from the head to the heart)
Keeping the event fun, on time, and engaging
Supervising and communicating with other auction employees serving in offstage roles, caterers, event planners, audio visual personnel, videographers, and most importantly your guests.
